My Born-Again Story by Timothy Stolz March 2019

I’m up early getting ready to go to work. I’m a painting contractor, 31 years in business same small mountain town.

As I finished getting dressed, I felt something unusual, something different, I remember later I could not put my finger on it.

As I walk out of my bedroom, through the dining room, I see a thank you note sitting on the very corner of a large table, closets to where I’m about to walk past. It had somehow traveled from my office downtown to my house about 4 years earlier. I moved it when I dusted but never put the card back at the corner of my table.

As I walked by the table and past that Thankyou card, I reached out, touched it with my finger and said to myself, fully believing I could do this….in my head I said “I wish I could send this card to you God, someone is praying for me over my hurt back, and I haven’t had one to pray for me in well over 15 years”.

Suddenly, I was thrown to my knees. I felt the intense warming of my whole body. I began to shake, to vibrate. Realizing I was receiving a Holy Spirit visit, I put my hands into the air and cried out “Thank you Jesus, Thank you!” over and over again.

The shaking got more intense. I felt like falling over. Tears of joy clouded my vision. This lasted about 17 – 18 seconds.

Background is important.

I had fallen and hurt my back. I had three physical therapy sessions with Paula Hale. This was now a few days after that third session. At the end of the first session Paula asked if she could pray for me. Of course, I said YES!

12 years earlier I was on my back in the Emergency Roon here in Estes Park, Colorado. I had been drinking Burbon and beer steady for three days trying to get some sleep from a different back injury. This was 2007.

My BAC was .465 over five times the legal limit. My eyes were beginning to lose sight as black holes were developing in my vision. The doctor said if I had waited 20 more minutes to come to the ER, he may not have been able to save me. Well, that got my attention! Hello yes, if I was about to die, pray all you want!

He and a nurse bent over me, laid their hands on me and prayed that I would stop drinking.

I went home that afternoon, threw out all my liquor, and began to wonder what in the world was I DOING ALMOST DYING?

That day became my first day sober. I had withdrawals for three days, they were gone!

So, I remembered these prayers when Paula asked me if she could pray for me.

My touching that card and sending it to God with my thankyou that someone (Paula) was praying for me again.

Then BANG! A Born Again experience I will always cherish!

Make Ameria Born Again suicide spirit

 How the MAKE AMERICA BORN AGAIN cap came from a moment in prayer.

Sunday January 26, 2025, I was visited by the spirit of suicide.

Over the previous 10 months I had four knee replacement surgeries on the same knee. After the third surgery in September 2024 the antibiotic time release spacer inserted into the knee, broke into three pieces. An MRI showed each piece had three sharp edges. The surgeon decided to leave them in to finish the fight against a severe infection.

The resulting pain felt like a steak knife had been inserted into the knee joint, then wiggled up and down. The sharp level 10 pain lasting 5-7 seconds, 10 to 20 times an hour, 18 hours a day became intolerable. I had been taking pain meds since April. The oxycontin and morphine meds had stopped working.

The fourth surgery in December 2024 to take out those three pieces and insert an implant did not alleviate the unexpected and intense pain.

On that Sunday in January, I began to think about people who had chronic pain for which the medical community had told them there was nothing further that could be done to relieve their pain. I understood why people would want to take their life to stop the pain. I felt empathy for them and contemplated my suffering.

Then it happened. The spirit of suicide came to me and invited me to come with her and she would stop my pain. The feminine spirit made me feel warm. My faith was strong enough to know what to do. I immediately rebuked the spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. She went away.

The very next day, Monday the 27th, the spirit of suicide came again. A feminine voice spoke to me “Come with me and I will stop your pain”. Again, I felt warm. Immediately I rebuked the spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. She went away.

One more visit on Tuesday the 28th. Same feminine spirit inviting me to come with her. Again, there was a feeling of warmth. Another rebuke in the name of Jesus Christ sent her back where she came from.

Then I was suddenly visited by the Holy Spirit and asked if I wanted to see the calling God had now set aside for me, for my being faithful. Maybe I was out-of-body seeing no colors, darkness or light, just a sense of awareness that I might be in the spirit world. I was startled, surprised and before I could think, I asked to be taken back. That is what happened in a very quick moment.

Now on Wednesday the 29th, about noon, I received a text message from my Pastor Steve Ferranti of Park Fellowship Church in Estes Park, Colorado. His text said that I was in his heart and that he had been praying for me. He asked if the sharp pains I had been experiencing had subsided.

Stopping to reflect on my knee pain, I realized that in fact the pain had subsided and presented with less frequency. Answering his text, I told him I was doing better and thanked him for his prayers.

Thursday the 30th I woke up to realize there had been no knee pain during the night that I had slept well for the first time in 10 months. The pain was gone! I had been healed! Praise God!

Now it’s Sunday February 2, 2025. I’m 73 years old and have not worked since my first surgery the April before. My finances were a mess. Three truck payments behind, relying on my Church and a Christan Charity to pay February’s rent. My savings are all gone and my medical bills were $330,000, of which I was responsible for 5%. For the first time in my life, I had to go to a food bank.

In prayer I brought all of these financial problems to God. I reminded God that for months my prayers included asking him to show me how to bring people to Jesus and that he find me worthy to do so. I prayed that I could see the calling God had prepared for me.

Suddenly, in a vision to my left, I saw the Born Again red cap with the white lettering in a square box. Then in an inaudible voice I heard “Go sell these”.

I was certain that this was not an original idea, that someone had already trademarked this phrase. Reviewing the Colorado Secretary of State website, I found it available. Completing the online forms, I now had MAKE AMERICA BORN AGAIN trademarked in Colorado.

Going to bed that night, I told the Holy Spirit if this was in fact from him, the US Trademark would be available Monday morning. It was available and sometime later I would secure it in my name.

My promise to God was that 80% of the net profits would go to Christian charities that he would designate.
